In or Out? Depends on which projection you believe

from Baseball America - Clemson first team out. Clemson is our first team out, a victim of bid-theiving. Historically, the committee is less forgiving of power-conference teams with questionable RPIs, which also pertains to teams such as Kentucky (No. 60), Missouri (No. 56) and Oregon (No. 62). The Tigers sit at No. 54, and while their other numbers are respectable, particularly their 17-15 record against ACC foes, Southern Miss does have better records on the road (14-7 vs. 12-9) and against the top 100 (15-11 vs. 20-21). Clemson’s hopes are bolstered by its late-season sweep of Florida State, though it forfeited some of that momentum by going 1-2 in the ACC tournament. You can certainly find reasons to justify Clemson’s inclusion, but the RPI is a big issue, and their fifth-place finish is not lofty enough to make us believe the committee would overlook their RPI.
from House of Sparky - Last Four In: Clemson, Southern Miss, Oregon, Southeastern Louisiana As I see it, the committee should really be focusing on five teams for the final four spots. Memphis, Georgia Tech, and UC Irvine all have solid resumes but each one has a specific fault that it cannot overcome. Clemson and Southern Miss are the safest of the five. The Tigers made a concerted effort to put together a good nonconference schedule, and they should be rewarded for that. The Golden Eagles finished the season with a superb record of 14-2 and won twice as many games as they lost on the road.

I hope the Tigers make the tournent, but I also find it somewhat sad that as a Clemson supporter I'm hoping for Clemson the be the 63rd or 64th tee am selected.
