I heard some things that I don’t remember from DJ. I hope he continues to speak confidence to this team with statements like;
We have great players around me
The o-line is great
The wide receivers are great
We have the two best running backs in college.
(Of course these are not direct quotes)
He is trying to lead this team with confidence.

DJ always answered every question with class, however, he also never really seemed to answer them with his true feelings. Just kind of went in flow with the question meaning he would get questions like how did you feel about the great play here or there.. answer: Oh that was a great play! Yes I love my teammates for sure.. I just go out and put my best effort, ect. ect. Never heard him say I cannot stand losing and I will get this team going.

It's just more believable coming from Cade, regardless what's said, we're all going to use the eye test to see what legit and what isn't. One things for certain, just about everyone looked better while Cade was playing....especially the WRs. Players know, when they believe in someone....they will do their job much harder and much better. Confidence is contagious within a team.

Wasn't taken that way, my post was not meant to bash DJ either, other than to state what it sounded like to me. But is is refreshing to here answers that look like they come from the heart and not semi rehearsed or agreeing with every questioned ask. It might be, he just did not have that edge, to get you excited when talking about what happened and/or what's coming, but Cade does! and he knows where his source of strength really is and not just saying it to be saying it.
