Too many injuries to win it all this year. Also think our o line couldn't handle the size and speed of Alabama/Georgia/Mich etc. They looked great tonight and give them tons of credit for improvement. If healthy (and better QB) we would be pretty scary though.

I think a lot of you are forgetting we have so many players out with injury.I don't think we had the same players start consecutive games all year. We get healthy and look out!

Can blame all you want on injuries. Game still flows through the QB, and it’s beyond obvious that DJ isn’t the answer for our program. Every pass he threw over 8 yards tonight had a legitimate shot at being picked off.

Oh I agree. I was just pointing out that even with injuries we are 30 points better than the coots. Not to mention a qb that couldn't throw it off the back of a boat and hit water.

The current QB is most probably the ‘22 starter. Why trash him? What can happen in 9 months in terms of development? Watching video, lifting, working on speed, losing weight, working out with receivers EVERY day. If that’s the case, is he a better QB in September? Charlie wasn’t Charlie his first year. Same with Tajh. Same with Deshaun. Even Trevor was limited, but had a great surrounding cast. Experience and maturity are difference-makers. And there’s the probability of a healthy and ready backup on the bench.
