Come on people we still have the #1 D and OU is not really that good. The team has 3 weeks to figure something out on O and the Clemson D will def keep the game Close.

We'll if Cole starts throwing INTs Dabo needs to put his ### on the bench. We will know early on which Cole is playing. Don't see how it could hurt putting Nick in if Cole starts the game out sucking.

Cole's confidence has eroded further since those games. We couldn't beat BC, Louisville or Syracuse with how he is playing now. Plus, Oklahoma is better than those teams except for Louisville.
If Cole has to throw the ball other than the jet sweep, he will throw interceptions. It's not about knowledge or reps or ability. It's about confidence. No amount of preparation will matter.

I'm sure OK will load the box and running up the middle will be rough. So I'm sure we will try to get to the edges. But that will be hard to do if the game plan gets predictable.

can't throw the ball without getting intercepted? How many different ways can we run the ball against a defense geared to stop your run and make your quarterback throw it?
What throws should our coaches trust Cole to make other than the jet sweep toss? I can't think of a single one. Can you?

Cole has no confidence in himself . What true talents at qb does he have? He can't run and can't throw the deep ball . Every time he does its an interception. He can only throw the short screen pass. You think Oklahoma does not know these facts ? Face the truth. Cole is a loser and we can't win with him. Ga Tech? Dabo is stupid and insane if he starts Stoudt.

Regardless if you are a gambling man or not, would you put $100 dollars straight up for a Clemson win if Cole start?
I would not take that bet myself.
I love the tigers and Cole but he has been very cold since that first drive at UGA.

If it was legal to do, I would take you up on that bet.
The team will have several weeks to prepare, Defense will be ready and the plays we will practice will center around Cole for offense.

Just use the same game plan that they used in the USuc game. Don't let him throw deep. Use the fly sweeps, the 6" passes and run the ball alot again OK. The defense will take care of the rest. No dumb turn overs and they will be fine.

I would love to see Cole go out with a bang. This is really a big game for Clemson, a chance at 10 wins and a decent final ranking are important.

OK's pass defense is probably saying the same thing when they see Cole is starting lol. But who knows, 3 weeks of bowl prep...I'm sure we'll have a solid game plan in place.

As much as you're sick of hearing it, I think most are just as sick of seeing it. Maybe a miracle can happen in his final game, but I honestly don't see him throwing the ball more than 15 times with the majority being quick screens or toss sweeps. Now whether or not he'll be the first to throw a pick on a toss sweep remains to be seen.

Cole this year, you know that there is no amount of preparation they can provide that will repair his confidence to the point where he can think clearly and avoid mistakes. I doubt Cole even wants to play.
Like the sun rising in the morning, Cole will make mistakes and turn the ball over if he tries to throw it.

trust in Cole in first interception in Gawja game - after Cole led some good drives and we had lead. How can you trust in yourself when your coach does not trust you, and those announced "20 plays" was Morris making excuses for poor offense, thinking DW would play whole game against GT. Unfortunately, GT knew those "20 plays". Glad Morris is gone, as he was inflexible in what he wanted out of QB!
