Yes, it is and not good for Clemson unless either the ACC can get ESPN to improve our TV contract or the NCAA becomes two super conferences for say the top 30 schools for football only.

There are 65 Power 5 schools plus Notre Dame so the 30 idea is a non starter. No way to deal with Super Leagues because football income drives the total Athletic Departments and Super Leagues would not work for the other 20 sports.

Yea I get the money differentials between conferences are getting out of hand and there are other issues but the NIL needs a lot of work as well. That’s why I titled this as a mess because the whole deal needs an over haul imo. I’m afraid we are getting left behind and it’s not because of us not using the transfer portal. Not sure why a 5 star would commit to us with other schools or boosters having the ability to offer a bigger payday. The SEC and the Big Ten have so much money they could afford to rig it where all their schools could afford all the top talent. Sad and pisses me off at the same time.
