Does anyone else dislike breakfast food?

2

Jan 19, 2023, 6:34 AM

I pretty much skip it every day except for maybe a yogurt. Early lunch is the way to go. Can't stand when a place won't serve lunch food until a certain time.

I hate breakfast. Except for free continentals.

So it's continental, then?

@greene The reg eggs are averaging 4.25 a carton up 238 percent over last year nation wide. Were 1.79 last December 2021. So the average of all kinds would be well over 5 one would think. I don’t give a shizz what kind you are buying they have skyrocketed.

It's the time of day more than the typical breakfast fare.

1) I rarely have time to fix anything good for breakfast so I'm generally eating bagels, instant oatmeal, etc.

2) There are a lot of foods that don't sit well in my stomach shortly after waking up. Eggs and fruit are two of them.

So if we're talking about brunch of breakfast dinner, I'm all in, but if it's the standard work day breakfast i often make in 5 minutes and eat in the truck.. not so much.
