I'm one of those old white guys

who bought Nike gear. I'm a runner. I use athletic shoes and clothing. Was Nike has done to me is put something I try to escape from when I run - contentious politics - in my face when I put my shoes on. I can't escape it - every other topic here on Tigernet is devoted to this. And everywhere else.
I admit Nike does make the best running clothes, so that's easy (I've already replaced most even before the controversy). I have a pair of Zoom Air Structure with like 80 miles on them (I use multiple pairs of shoes) that I don't think I'll be wearing. Or at least I'm not comfortable wearing now. Thanks Nike.
I may not be "their demographic" but I do purchase athletic apparel. And, unless something changes, not Nike's anymore. Which is a shame because I do like those shoes. I don't want to be labeled if I wear them, though, which is probably what would happen.
So I'll put on my Asics, take a look at the Hoka I've had my eyes on, and move on.

What I meant to say was WHAT Nike has done and that Nike DOESN'T make the best runner's apparel. Decent shoes (at east I think so). Clothing is eh.

If you like the Structure Triax, might I suggest the following (in order):
Brooks Ravenna
New Balance - 860
Saucony Guide ISO
Mizuno Wave Inspire
Those would be the 4 closest in terms of fit and tooling.
If you do try Hoka, look at the Arahi first before anything else.

Love Asics as well; always heard for running shoes - Nike was in show business, and Asics and New Balance were in shoe business.

With all due respect to you - and your opinion - I would counter that us old white guys that respect the flag, our national anthem, and the many service members who have sacrificed all for this country (and in our opinion, are symbolized by the flag and the anthem) do not beat up folks that don’t...
... and by ‘got it backwards’, it is also my opinion (observation?) that the violence is more often perpetrated by the folks that don’t, as well.
