Who is this "Marcel" cat on Road Rage once a week? His

"Clemson Report" is like a collection of Clemson scores from days/weeks ago. Why does Walt give him time? I treat his report like a commercial and switch channels hoping he will be gone when I come back.

Also, I've been suspicious because he mispronounces lots of common sports names. Today, he called "Bobby Bowden" as "Bobby Bowen" at least three times. ANYBODY that knows anything about sports knows "Bobby Bowden".

I remember the first time he called Walt and Ramona thought it was a joke and poked fun at him.

But now it’s like a regular Monday segment and Walt encourages it. And yes the guy does mis pronounce many names. Including Dabo Swinney. Could be a troll, but I’m not sure why Walt plays along

I have heard the segment a few times and it is bad. Like real bad.

I do think Marcel may have some challenges so I do give him some props for trying......

Heck....Marcel one a week or Big Bad Bob and Ed from Honea Path EVERY freaking day??? Give me Marcel.

One day during basketball season, he called in with his Monday report and butchered several names… the next guy that called in started laughing and basically called him out about it and Walt quickly shut him down and said a few times “we looooove marcel”

Reading between the lines with things Walt has said, I believe Marcel is trying his best and it makes his day to call and give that report. Walt is just being respectful and allows it out of kindness, which I know several here don’t care for Walt but that’s my opinion. I think we can all tolerate it for a few minutes a week if that’s the case.

I’m pretty sure Clemson radio isn’t the only station he calls regularly or the only report he likes to give.

Yeah I believe that Marcel might have some form of a developmental issue or cognitive issue judging by how Walt handles it. I have to give Walt credit for how he handles it. If Marcel were my son or your son we would appreciate it, I'm sure. That's just my assessment of the situation.
