I'm not seeing this elite Louisville team I'm hearing about

The talking heads have been wetting themselves talking about how great Louisville has looked this year. I don't see it. They beat two inferior opponents. In their cupcake game to open the season, UL were a comedy of errors during much of the first half. They looked downright sloppy. Then against UNC, I think if UNC had run rather than attempted a pass on 4th and 1 toward the end; UNC could have very easily won the game. I know the game against them won't be a cake walk. But they don't look as good as the team we played in the Valley last year.

That's because this year's team is not even close to last year's team. Take a close look at what they lost and it is evident. The only way we let them stay in the game is to give up large chunks of tturf and go with the "conservative" gameplay we did against Auburn. We do that and we just might lose/

This is just a repeat of the Ohio state game last year. Barring a catastrophe of turnovers Clemson cruises in this one.

Ohio state had a much better defense, but Lamar Jackson brings another

Element. I know it was only UNC but he was very electric in the game. Hoping it is a product of a ###### defense but he looked good. We should be able to score, and as noted can't play a game like Auburn but we shouldn't have to.

" But they don't look as good as the team we played in the Valley last year. "
That is probably very true, but I don't think we look quite as good as the team that played them last year either.
That said - I don't see how UL can beat CLEMSON unless we lose several turnovers. Jackson cannot beat us by himself.

Thats true. However, remember, we had 4 games before them as a tune up last year. We also didn't look very good last year at the beginning of the season, hence the Deshaun apology and everyone wondering what in the world was going on when we ONLY scored 19 against Auburn and didn't destroy Troy like everyone thought we would.
I think our defense this year is better this year to contain Jackson. No disrespect to Boulware, but we have linebackers now at the Will and Sam position that can cover and run with anyone trying anything cute out of the backfield, and ESPECIALLY with Muse as our Strong Safety this year. Kid runs a 4.4 and hits like a mac truck. Willing to bet he will be the Spy in 1 deep coverage with K'von over the top until they prove they can throw it deep consistently on us.
With all of that said, we will definitely have to score more than 21 to beat them this game. I'm thinking 35-21 game with them possibly getting up on us early but losing steam because of our depth in the 2nd half.
Also; their freshman center is going to be DESTROYED all night. Look for double teams on Wilkins or Lawrence that will free up a man to rush.

I don't see it as well. This is the same way Lamar Jackson got started last year putting up video game numbers against bad teams. To be honest they should be 0-2.

I think their best game beats our very worst game but I have confidence in our Coaches and Players not to make this our worst game. The environment will bring out the best in both teams and Tiger prevail by 21 points.

Their whole team is Lamar Jackson. Take away Lamar Jackson and they're probably a 7 win football team.
