because he saw he dropped a wide open ball and needed an excuse?..because thats what it appears to have happened to me

Appears the throw was a little behind him. Saw his foot do something funny on the replay.

Possibly. But he was open for three seconds while DJ pumped the ball and put Ross at risk of a safety ripping his head off.

Poorly thrown ball behind Ross and he twisted ankle trying to reach back for ball. Was open and if had ball been accurate and on time a big play for sure.

His foot caught in that Home Depot turf of the Carrier Dome. Probably mostly his pride was hurt but he definitely rolled an ankle.
