Spurrier's post-game comments - "...we need to find some...

Oct 21, 2012, 12:20 PM

...players that want to play for South Carolina."

He calls out Clowney and Swearinger as having shown up to play yesterday and puts every other player on the team as "not wanting it", to win that is. Then again really takes Shaw to the carpet by saying that "we're just going to have to stop throwing the ball."

I mean just how much disrespect does he have for his players? While I'm always wearing my orange-colored sunglasses, it seems to me that even from a slightly neutral perspective, OBS is just a uncaring, wise-cracking, A$$.

that Shaw is better than an average QB. He's done everything right (off the field, to my knowledge anyway) unlike their last "star" QB.

Its obvious that Spurrier doesnt care about any of that stuff though as long as he wins

I believe in a coach being a tough disciplinarian and calling players on the carpet when necessary. Spurrier, however, is way over the line---publicly humiliating players and essentially throwing his whole team under the bus. I can't imaginge any top-notch verbal commit to Carolina seeing and hearing this stuff and not having major second thoughts.

OBS is 67 or 68 years old and he still thinks that he could make those plays! No one will ever be as good as he thinks he was!

Retire!

TIme for him to retire! Lets start that rumor. He just cannot recruit a good QB. Not sure why, other than the fact he will thrown them under the bus if they mess up. I wouldn't want my kid going there! Good ridance!
