We could potentially make the playoffs. We made the playoffs with Kelly Bryant. And Kelly Bryant is a significantly better quarterback than DJ. But we’re not gonna win a game in the playoffs with DJ at QB. I don’t even think we can beat Notre Dame based on what I’ve seen so far. And if we don’t beat Notre Dame we’re not going to the playoffs. It’s really that simple.

I don’t care how good your defense is, the offense has to move the ball and help the defense. Field position. Giving the defense, even one with a lot of depth, a chance to rest.
And how does a DB let a wide receiver run free on fourth and six? Does no one teach our DB’s to hit the guy at the line of scrimmage. You have to disrupt the timing. You have to disrupt the play. We just let these guys run.

If the offense isn’t being effective I don’t care how good your defense is. The other team will move the ball and score eventually.

At this point, we are a decent team because of our defensive line. We’re should be good enough to win the ACC and maybe go undefeated in the regular season, but we aren’t remotely in the same league as Bama and UGA.
But the season is young.

On both sides of the ball. This isn’t just poor QB play. We can’t run the ball. We fallen for that screen 4 times now. And open field tackling is horrible.

The greatest defense is not effective with today’s rules if the offense doesn’t at least move the ball a little bit. Also our offense only works if the QB is an affective runner. At least a threat to be affective running the ball. DJ is neither. This is 100% DJ. If you can’t see that it’s Cuz you don’t understand football and you don’t understand how our offense is designed.

OL and offensive scheme have been bigger issues tonight than DJ. His footwork in the pocket still isn't good, but he's thrown the ball pretty well tonight and mostly made good decisions.
The OL has stunk it up. We can't run the football and our FR RT is a turnstile in pass pro right now.
And our offensive scheme is stale and needs some fresh ideas.
