even interview Bill Cowher for the DC position is a G.D. travelsty and shows the lack of 10,000" feet thinking that CDS has as a program manger.
I don't know if he could've have made a worst hire than he did.

agrees that sarcasm is needed on the topic. I don't think sarcasm is necessary since so many people are not understanding all of the information.
After watching all of Dabo's speech from yesterday, I felt great about where we are going!

Time will tell. Let's revisit this discussion in 2-3 years and see how our team performs in the interim.
Dabo has planned for this moment. He knew Brent and Tony were likely to leave for head coaching positions at some point, and has groomed other assistants to step into those new roles. He believes that they are better than any outside hires, and he gets to make those decisions since he's a national championship winning coach.
I do think it's a risk, but Dabo marches to the beat of his own drummer and is comfortable with that.

seem to think they know more about football than Dabo. We have an active coach that has one of the best winning percentages in all of college football, but too many seem to think they know more than Dabo.
It just gets old having to read the same old tired argument from the same people year after year.

Bill Cowher.Man, you are so out of touch with reality you need to find a new sport.
There is only one man even remotely qualified to the be the new Defensive Coordinator.
Dave Campo, who at 74 years young went 5-11 three years straight as Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys.
If Brent Venables can be a "new" Head Coach then a former Head Coach can return to his roots.

I was thinking we needed Troy Polamalu as DC! He was vicious, aggressive, played for one of the best football minds ever. He knew every position on defense and where they were supposed to be. He has a few Super Bowl rings to show on the recruiting trail and that hair, he would have the mama's eating out of his hands in no time!

Completely disagree. Unless this is satire , it's also off the mark there.
Cowher isn't going to be a CFB coordinator, and Dabo Swinney knows what he has in Wes Goodwin and so lets just say that he is wiser than any of the fans who critique his decisions...you and I included.
