Homeschooling 3 kids is stressful.. but thankful for the time I get to spend with them.

I teach some classes at a Tech School and we were told the summer session would be online classes only. I doubt if schools will open if the Tech Schools won't.

My sister in law works for Richland School District 2 in Columbia. She says they will not be returning to school before fall. Teachers are required to be online for x hours daily conducting online classes, which will count as days attended. There will be no need to make up days.

Actually, this subject came up yesterday-she makes an astounding amount of money for a job in education. Has an Ed.D,, retired several years ago, has been working on contract ever since. Her job is training and mentoring teachers and she’s very good at it.

It’s a hard job, to be sure, but smart teachers can make decent money nowadays if they get advanced degrees and specialize.
