it is obvious, we can't get enough recruits to come this year. Our staff is an excellent recruiting staff as evidenced by past hauls. But this situation this year is scary. I hope it was just a bum luck year with decommits and such and not the beginning of a new normal of trying to recruit SEC territory and not being in the SEC. I mean we were 11-2 and beat LSU and Auburn for crying out loud. We'll see what happens on signing day. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised, but not counting on it.

he spoke about 2 wks ago, said like other teams in yrs past, we just took some lumps this recruiting season re: the decomittments from RN and Demarcus Robinson.
Jenkins was upgraded to Priester
Probably wuldn't have even recruited Ebo if RN didn't leave us, so thats a decent replacement..
Plus guys like Boulware shot up the rankings and surpased Tramel Terry as the best player in the state

We have Nuk going pro, 3 guys leave on transfer, Cordrea Tankersley still needs his ACT score to get accepted into Clemson. We also had 2 WR decommits in which we have an upgrade commit replacement already and Clark looks to replace Robinson.
Now because of the 2 players that you mentioned who made themselves worthy you are freaking out?
Get the stars out of your eyes. Edmond and Carter are guys who can come in and prove themselves.
As for the sky falling, do you really think we would be asking guys to walk on if we were not extremely close to being booked up already?

Worthy note: I've heard Edmond could be a safety/wr, sounds like a great offer to me.

Please don't be scared all the time, I worry for your health.
It may be that up until today, you were unaware that Clemson has been recruiting in SEC territory for decades.
Or maybe you haven't noticed our staff has been recruiting strongly on team needs. Maybe you didn't notice that Cortez transferred. Maybe you don't think Reed has some say in who to recruit to fill Cortez's spot.

We will be fine, the transfers where probably a bonus. I mean Teek would prolly never see the field with Boulware, ODaniel, & the Oklahoma transfer coming in. Not to mention the other two 5* in front of him. I think we will be extremely solid over the next 4 years at the LB spot.
As for this recruiting class it's fine, throw in a couple NSD commits and everyone will be talking about this class being a top 3 Clemson class ever. Go Tigers!
