Ha. No one on here was calling him a jerk when Mullen was hanging 60 on the coots when he was Florida's OC. Same with Brad Scott when TB hired him. Sometimes good coordinators just don't make good head coaches. Don't worry though- Saban will hire him and they will probably win 4 more Natty's.

All speculation so fun to reply....
We need a hire that is offensive minded younger guy that can develop quarterbacks. Someone who can be groomed to fit into a role of a HC one day. Just saying. We won't have Dabo forever.

I agree. Not saying its my choice but back when Terry Don went with Dabo, he wouldn't have been my choice either. But when Chad bolted, Dabo promoted from within. Dabo was promoted from within - he's going to promote from within if/when Tony leaves too.

Dabo hired from outside the organization with Venables and Morris. I hope he does the same if (when) he looks for a replacement for TE.

Streeter and Dabo called the game against the Bucknuts last year when TE was sidelined with Covid. I don't remember that going too well.

No.
He is proclaimed to be a "QB whisperer." He was OC when Tim Tebow was at uf. He was HC when Dak Prescott was QB at MSU.
Other than that his best QB may have been Kyle Trask who didn't start until his redshirt senior year and had an amazing offense (led by Kyle Pitts) around him.
