I Don’t think most people has given up on KB, they just would like to see a little more consistency in passing downfield.

His downfield passing was great against FU. Doesn't mean much tho ofcourse.

And TL had 5 or something like that? KB had 2 for over 35 yards how many did TL have? The O looked great with TL at qb but we were also settled in already with play calling. I'm not on either ones side. I hope they both do great and they both did great imo. Both can improve ofcourse and it was just Furman so we don't know. We will find out Saturday how good each is. I hope they both score every time they get in and we have this convo all year.

Kelly had 2 over 20 yards, Trevor had 1 over 20 yards....but...
Trevor had 4 passes 15-20 yards out, KB...1.

First, I don’t think anyone has given up on KB.
To answer your question, no. TL is a freshman playing his first real college game in a hostile environment. People have a whole season of data on KB. We know what he can do and can’t do. He looked like the exact same player against Furman as he did all of last year. We have no clue what kind of player TL is going to be, even if he throws back to back ints against a&m. DW threw 17 ints his senior year and was miles and miles better than KB as a qb. Playmakers with huge arm talent take more chances than game managers.

Thanks for the insight but it was just a joke. KB look very good throwing the ball to me. His pocket awareness is still not where it needs to he tho but neither is TLs. I think I may like the 2 qb system but if the game is on the line this Saturday I trust KB more so from watching the Furman game.

Well ofcourse. I support him now. My comment was meant as a joke. I thought he and KB started a little off but both played great. I might like the 2 qb system. If TL takes over I will back it all the way but from the first game I think KB was/is better.

Not sure how you can say he is/was better. TL is the only QB that scored every time he was under center. TL has good pocket awareness. One of the things the coaches rave about.
One thing that’s going to be hard in a two qb system is the how/when the ball is delivered. TL gets it there quick and throws receivers open. Good example is the perfect pass to Tee that went through his hands. Could have been sweat or just a miss.
It just seemed to a lot of people the offense just flowed better when TL was in there.

KB throws the receivers open as well. He has a very good arm. TL throws a laser but KB can sling it too. We did score with TL in but we also had different players in on drives so it is hard to determine though I have to give credit where it is due. Scoring is the goal for sure. Hopefully he can do it again this week. If they have the same number of possessions and we score more with TL in I will be calling for him to start and take all the snaps.

Then you should be doing that already if you can say that last statement...both had 5 drives a piece:

Bryant vs FCS Furman compared to Bryant vs lowest tier FBS Kent State and FCS Citadel:
^ Which looks better, last year, or this year? Kent State, he played 8 drives; Citdel, he played 5. Had 2 deep ball passes in both games last year, too. Didn't rush but 2 times vs Citadel, but compare even the rushing vs Furman and 2017 Kent State. Look at the yards per pass, yards per rush, QB RAT, QBR...

You saying KB has a very good arm just shows how non objective you are. Anyone with eyes can see KB has very weak arm strength and terrible mechanics. His long loopy wind up and weak arm gives the defense much more time to react to the ball, causing more incompletions and quick tackles. TL gets the ball out quick and has nfl arm strength, which will make our offense much better.
Do you know KB personally?

But, no denying that when it comes to throwing the rock, the quotes are always, "working hard to improve", or "building a better throwing motion", etc, while the results do not seem to change much. The Kid, on the other hand, makes it look effortless from the get go. I just think that once he is truly comfortable at this level, his talent will undeniably put him on the field, much as DW4's did him. You can only play 11 at one time, and the best 11 are going to be out there.

We already have a good idea TL can move around and make accurate throws.
KB is a SR and has yet to prove he can with consistently.
Whoever can do this the best Sat night will be our starter.
If KB has improved his accuracy he will get the bulk with TL mostly Mop up duty.
If TL lights up TAM he will be the starter with KB still getting 3-4 meaningful snaps a game.
Then mop up duty.

Gonna be fun to watch and hopefully one of them or both lead us to victory and we score many points. Idc who it is or if it is both but I do believe we will know how the rest of the season will go after Saturday. Either one will take over or we will continue the 2 qb system all year.

I am usually on your side -- but not on Tiger QB status.
It's not about hypotheticals; it's about which young man has the best football skill sets, and at the QB position those skill sets revolve around passing talent. Are you telling us that Kelly Bryant has the skill sets to go #1 in the NFL draft? That is hard to compete with no matter how hard a worker and quality young man KB has demonstrated himself to be. I will pull for both QBs, but do not be surprised if by mid-year there is only one QB getting reps.
