For anyone thinking there's a bias against Clemson in winning the Heisman can I seriously ask why you think we've had winners within the last 10 years from Baylor, FSU, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Louisville, but you feel it's not possible for Clemson to win one? It's even more odd to me why you'd think the media would hype Watson as the Heisman favorite entering his Junior year, and hype Lawrence as the favorite each of the past 2 years with both guys managing a 2nd place finish if the media is so against Clemson?

He could get 500 rushing yards per game and score every time he got the ball and still not win that award. Refuse to mention the name of it as it has become so political and tarnished it isn't worth typing it. As long as the espn know it alls keep pushing the sec junk, no way anyone from Clemson will win.

I can't speak for your intensions for making the first post, but I think it's obvious by the replies here that people are at least implying that a Clemson receiver putting up the same numbers as Smith did wouldn't have won the Heisman.
I wish Lawrence or Watson would've won the Heisman, but when discussing stats I don't recall either QB leading the country in stats, much less having a ton more than anyone else and still not winning it. Lawrence actually had fewer stats than Jones and Trask this year and finished ahead of both of them in the voting.
