than 72 hours before signing day, then I would be willing to bet we have lost them. This has happened before with the two defensive linemen a couple of years ago. I have to tell you that I have never had a good feeling that Ray Ray was truly committed and did not get good vibes even from the pics of last week. I figured we might lose him and to find out that he and Cane were travelling together to visits this late in the process was not good news to me. The fact that they would both go to Auburn at this stage tells me that they are not thrilled with sighing with Clemson and are looking. You can bash me for being negative, but I call it realistic. Where there is smoke there is fire. Same thing with Nkemdiche, I said as soon as that nonsense started that he was gone to Ole Miss. Same thing with Montravious Adams and the other player that talked him into going to Auburn with him.
I am really angry about this development, but understand it goes with the territory. It is just worse when players wait wait until the last week to pull this. I would use the term sting along if they were not committed to us, but to be committed and do this is far beyond stinging coaches along, it is really bad. As angry as I am, I am not surprised. As I said, there has been just a gut feeling about these two all along and thought we'd lose one of them, but to lose both it the pits.
By the way, it does appear that people are confirming that the visit did take place.

the worst possible way to handle their recruiting. They abused their recruiter and didn't just say they were down to Clemson and someone else, but they said they were committed! And then go somewhere else now and leaves no time to get anyone else. The worst possible.
