I'd take this opportunity to kick BC, Pitt, and Syracuse out of the conference. While other conferences are gorging themselves, we should be trimming the fat and streamlining our operation. It would send a message that if you can't pull your weight, you don't belong here, and nobody will protest if those schools get booted anyway. Add ND, Oklahoma State, and Texas A&M and move on. And don't give me SEC buyout bull either, whatever the A&M buyout is, the ACC should cut a check for twice that, just to let the SEC know who's still in charge.

Better yet...when we boot BC, Pitt and Syracuse, we STILL CHARGE them the buyout for leaving the conference. That should cover the A&M buyout.

There is no buyout for SEC teams. They are free to leave at

any time. The reason for this is that they doubt anyone would ever leave and give up that money. They also feel that if anyone wants to leave because they feel they cant win in that league, then dont let the door hit them on the way out.
