If Hydroxychloroquine works, we can have football on time

Aug 1, 2020, 9:30 PM

Hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin plus zinc, These three combination drugs may work, especially in the first stage. Do not be fooled by the politicians.
If you have any symptoms, take hydroxychloroquine immediately even before the test. Data from other countries has shown hydroxychloroquine is effective

You mean publications that do not even tell you who owns them, write under pseudonyms and refuse to release their own actual identities so as to shield themselves from any accountability, and have repeatedly bombed fact checks are better than actual accredited news organizations because they tell you what you want to hear?

C'mon. The real media isn't perfect - after the Trump administration is over, the press probably needs to face a lengthy inquest and postmortem exam about how exactly their own inherent bias and tendency towards sensationalism created the very daylight that allows Alt-Right hacks exactly like these to exist in the first place - but flawed or not, the Alt-Right media exists largely to repudiate and re-spin actual media, not report actual news of their own.

landing on the moon flies in the face of the notion that our government is inept and incapable of any sort of major accomplishment. In reality it was a great example of private/ public collaboration where patents did not get suppressed and companies like texas instruments shared technology with collaborating companies. We can thank the moon landing for the development of the modern transistor, and eventually the first microprocessors because they needed a navigation computer that weighed less than 70 lbs.

I have read many medical studies and articles about HC. Very confusing unless one is trained in medicine and statistics. In my opinion the most sane writer is Dr Harvey Risch, a highly qualified medical doctor from Yale. As with almost any controversial subject, you need to ask yourself who is making the money. No one recommending HC is making money. They are only being criticized. I tend to trust those who don’t have a financial interest in a particular therapy. I don’t think there is much downside to taking low dose prophylactic HC and zinc or taking a full 5 Day course of HC, zinc, and Zpak for a positive test and/or mild symptoms. My HC prescription cost $3.00, Zpak $5.00. Bottle of OTC zinc is about $7.00 on Amazon. As always, consult your health provider first.

Aug 2, 2020, 2:11 PM

Do I think the African frontline doc lady is a looney tunes? Yes, that’s my opinion. Does that mean hydroxy has no value in treating covid? Not necessarily. Fauci is not a believer in hydroxy. Dr. Harvey Risch is 100% a believer. Risch is a leading epidemiologist in the US, and he is convinced and has stated the use of the “hydroxy cocktail” for prophylaxis and early treatment would’ve reduced covid mortality in the US by 50%. Does that mean it’s a cure...no, but that’s almost 80,000 dead people who would still be alive IF he is right. Emphasis on “IF.” Is it ok in this country to believe Fauci and think hydroxy is snake oil for covid? Yes. Is it ok to believe Risch and think it’s crazy not to try hydroxy if you catch the virus? I say Yes. Why don’t we stop letting politicians divide us along stupid political ideologies for a change, and by all means do what is best for us individually, and our families? This is not a dadgum Democrat vs Repub issue so please just stop it!

I personally take zinc daily because zinc inhibits the RNA polymerase nsp12, which catalyzes the synthesis of viral RNA. I also eat lots of foods containing the natural zinc ionophore quercitin, like grapes, red wine, elderberry tea, and so forth. I also bought a supply of natural quercetin just in case I get the virus and my doc won’t prescribe hydroxy. I didn’t do any of this bc I’m left or right. See I’ve made a decision for my health based on hours of study and research. It has NOTHING to do with orange man. Do research folks and be engaged with your doctor about what is right for you and your health. A one size fits all approach can never be right from a health and medical standpoint in my opinion. And politics absolutely should not enter into health care. Please Stop letting political ideology divide us on every aspect is life. Be safe out there proud American Tiger fans!

and She alleges alien DNA is currently used in medical treatments, and that scientists are cooking up a vaccine to prevent people from being religious. And, despite appearing in Washington, D.C. to lobby Congress on Monday, she has said that the government is run in part not by humans but by “reptilians” and other aliens.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: ^^^^ This Tardog***

Aug 2, 2020, 9:57 PM

That’s obvious. I think his question was... is it possible the crazy witch doctor was accurately reporting the case study summary statistics of her hydroxy patients? But to your question, you are 100% accurate. No way I’d wait until I was very sick with covid and take 2400 mg monster doses of hydroxy. I’m listening to these virologists. We know what happened with the veterans in that study...right? I believe them and the trials on that. Harvey Risch, on the other hand, is no witch doctor. He’s quite respected and one of the top epidemiologists in the world. When he says a much smaller dose taken with zinc as prophylactic or at first onset of symptoms will reduce mortality by as much as 50%, well I don’t have a problem with folks considering that. Zelenko and many other docs, including the other seemingly non-looney frontline docs in the video and around the world are convinced the early treatment regimen works. Now if we can get some large trials which accurately reflect the early treatment and/or prophylactic approach we’ll know more. I personally think the UCLA doc on the frontline video sums this hydroxy evidence up about as accurately as you can, as well as the doctor-patient relationship and rights to determine best individuals treatment.

Aug 2, 2020, 10:12 PM [ in reply to Re: If Hydroxychloroquine works, we can have football on time ]

You need a doctor to write for you if you want HCQ and Z-pak.

Those studies of HCQ are being tried on hospital patients. That alone eliminates any possibility of fairness and honesty due to the patients being advanced and no mention of zinc and Z-pak involvement.

If you set about to prove HCQ doesn't work then ensure that it's given alone and to advance cases. Apples to oranges and nothing close to science.

Aug 3, 2020, 2:03 AM

There’s a difference. I review a lot of journal articles, at least to me-probably one a month. Not because I do a good job at it, but because I return the reviews on time. I can testify that some peer-reviewed articles had at least one half-assed review because I’ve written more than one. That’s why you typically have 2-3 reviewers, hoping that one is trying. So peer-reviewed stuff is generally better than opinion, but it’s not perfect.

It’s all a mess of confusion

Aug 3, 2020, 2:25 AM

The medical stuff is so uncertain to start with. Most of the pro-hydroxy studies have already eliminated most of the at-risk patients, so are there good results because it worked or because the patients you selected were more likely to recover anyway. And a lot of the anti- studies chose patients who were too far along. The letter writers seemed to want people who had never been exposed before taking HQ, but then were exposed, to be the basis. We don’t do that sort of research in the western world (except the military sometimes).

From everything I've read, the Chloroquine or Hydroxy is the vehicle and the Zinc is the 'jump boys' (to use an analogy from recent news)...

There's absolutely nothing political in my assessment.
