Halls of Dutch Fork

Antonio Williams is really keeping things close to the vest after last night's Dabo visit. After some fellow students asked if he is "all-in" not much of a reaction, with one DF player saying he doesn't think it will be Clemson. I don't think this means much as I think Antonio is going to keep things really quiet, if for no other reason than he really has a lot of Gamecocks in his ear, to include some on DF coaching staff. Also he has a State title game to focus on. I really just hope this ends up being a situation where he goes where he wants to and not that he feels pressure from others. You all can see what is happening on Twitter with the chicken fans pouring it on that "you were their second choice and always our first"..blah..blah..the same is happening in person. We will see ...but this one is going to be interesting.

As a former Gaffney citizen I hope his team loses tomorrow but can’t wait to hear how he does and hope he picks the Tigers.

I heard on the gamecock radio station UofSC offered a receiver from Chapin two days ago.
Seems like they wouldn't have if Antonio was coming in.

I think if he hadn’t been seen as a fallback recruit by the staff, he’s probably painted orange by now. According to the recruiting guy on WCCP yesterday morning, he thinks Clemson has a uphill battle with the guy because of lack of a offer until recently. Supposedly Ole Miss is also in the picture

and I'm sure the coaches explained this. Clemson was up front that he wasn't number one because our coaches don't crap on people. He can appreciate that or not.

Antonio is a really good kid. He knows all that and you I have been through all this in prior posts about the situation at DF, etc. (I will spare you all a repeat) I served on the TD Club Board at DF, my son played there and I still keep up with several of the coaches and I do feel confident due to those contacts that this one could go either way. But I do think due to the many Gamecock voices around him, even if he has or decides it is Clemson, he will keep it very quiet. Just to avoid the circus.
