If Clemson to SEC how long before winning an SEC Title?

Within 3 years?

Within 10 years?

I say within 3 years.

How long is Saban coaching? You cannot even compare playing 8 games in the ACC to any other conference.

It's going to be very difficult if the league is that big and includes Bama, Georgia, OU, LSU, A&M, Florida, Texas, Auburn, etc.

That would be the majority of the participants from the 8 years of the CFP with the only notable exception being Ohio State.

Winning the SEC in that scenario will be about as difficult as winning the 2016 and 2018 national titles.

realistically we wouldn’t play all those teams in one season. We’d mix in mizzou vandy kentucky florida arky miss st. and of course lil brother each year.

And NO team even Alabama is going to go undefeated in this “new” SEC

There might be conference playoffs with four teams instead of 1 CG. I don't know if that would potentially mean 16 games for the national championship teams or if they would cut a game from somewhere else.

There honestly wouldn't be much need for OOC games anymore at that point. 1 or 2 would suffice and the rest could be conference games to maximize revenue.

Next move will be reducing the regular season to 11 games. This will allow for more playoff type games. Playing in the conference championship game will be a disadvantage going forward. Simiiar to NCAA basketball now. Teams actually lose out of conference tournaments to get rested for the big dance. Football is heading tbat way.
