isn't the backup better? I can't say DJ won't get better. I don't know. perhaps he gets better. but he's just not a serviceable p5 QB at this point. he looks lost a d'erik king at Houston - great athlete who dominates but step up on competition and it just doesn't work.
but he's young. I hope he can worth through it b/c he could be great and that's good for the ACC. but I I'm Dabo, I'm riding with someone else the rest of the season - or you're conceding this is a throwaway year.

As long as we have a coach or coaches who absolutely, positively, undeniably refuse to run the dang football it doesn’t matter the rest of the way as we’ll see the same results. It’s egregious that they continue to apologize time after time for not sticking with the run and then go out do the same thing over again.
We have a terribly inaccurate QB, inconsistent WR’s , and poor pass blocking yet they still can’t comprehend that the pass game is weaker than the run game. I wish like heck a reporter would grow a pair and ask why it continues to be a issue

Kenny Pickett stats against us in all his games previous was much worse than DJ, the point being that there’s help for DJ to get much better!

yes, but your DL getting to KP in shotgun before the ball did greatly contributed to that. but yes, he's got plenty of time to improve - hope he does - would be good for the conference.

Anyone else get a kick out of a Pitt fan telling us what would be good for the ACC? What’s good for the ACC is any team actually being able to compete with Clemson.

well, amen to that. but a good Clemson QB means you guys are competing for the playoffs, which is good for the ACC. not sure what I wrote is wrong.
