It’s been a while since we have had a dominant win over a top 5 team like that.
In fact, we haven’t had a top 5 win since 2020, and are just 1-3 in our last four games against top
5 teams.
We will beat the Coots, because we are way more talented. But let’s not act like their win wasn’t huge because it was. And let’s definitely not act like we would’ve beaten Tennessee like they did because we haven’t beaten a top 5 team like that in four seasons.

I agree with most of what you said expect you don’t think we could beat them in that fashion? If our D played like how they played last night, and minus the offensive turnovers who said we couldn’t? In fact we haven’t seen what this team could do if they play a complete games on both sides.

Thank God, football will be over soon and we can enjoy the splendor of Clemson basketball. It just means more to some folks apparently.

about possibly winning a Natty. Their one and only shot back in their "Black Magic" year of 1984 was sunk by an upset loss to Navy in the next to last game of the regular season. It didn't matter that they barely hung on to beat us by one point the next week, or that they lost to Oklahoma State in the Gator Bowl. As far as the bowl game went, even though they were not yet in the SEC at the time, they used the tried and true SEC excuse of "We didn't want to be there" to explain that loss.

after a win like that, then in my opinion, you're not doing it right. "Big deal, it's not like we won the Natty" is not the response.
They didn't just beat a top 5 team...they had their way with them. It was just two days ago.
Plus, the longer the back-slapping and celebrating bleed into the week, the less focused they are on what's coming for them Saturday.
