this kid would be good too and his brother who already has an offer ......
this QB could really push DJ to be better or have to sit too .... ???

I watched Cades championship game and IMO he starts day 1. He stands in the pocket under pressure, can read defenses and is a very good decision maker. He is also extremely accurate. He looks like a pro passer. I love how the ball he throws drops down to receivers instead of the 100mph fastballs DJ throws. Maybe the guy can transfer in and Cade can redshirt to get better but I would hate for him to decommit over a portal transfer.

Cade may sit behind DJ for just a few weeks, but, but, if DJ hasn't made a 100% improvement from this season, both will play from the start of the season, and by game 3 or 4, Cade will sit DJ down, or, bc he is 6'5", he will be holding a play sign on the side lines. Dabo won't risk our receivers getting broken or sprained fingers catching those to high, or knee level 100 MPH fast balls that DJ was throwing this season!!!
With all that has happen during this season, especially with coaches leaving at the end of this season, Dabo can't risk losing a single recruit bc we look horrible next season with a QB like Cade Klubnik sharing time with the one of the worst QBs as we've had in a lonnnng time.
Dabo will have to show all that just bc we've lost long time coaches, he can replace them them with other good proven coaches with the best players playing until we put a game away, that is a must see from Dabo next season, or it will hurt recruiting bc, no body want's to hear the excuse about a young team again next year.
Dabo will have to make some good hires soon to help with stopping our players from maybe hitting the transfer portal. I believe that Dabo knows what he has to do, and I believe that the reason that we haven't heard much from him, is bc he has been on the phone coach recruiting....

Have you watched his highlights? They can’t bring him in because he would stress the whole QB room. He’s pretty good. DJ wouldn’t see the field ever again if Max came here. I’d love to see it. Great insurance at QB if Klubnick isn’t ready as a freshman.

I think Dabo would definitely take Max Johnson from the portal if he could get him because he needs more QB talent. However, I doubt that Johnson would come to Clemson unless he was confident of being the 2022 starter.
Johnson's LSU backup hit the portal several weeks ago, and he could be a depth possibility too. Kelly is down to one scholarship QB for their bowl game, and that guy is at the point of losing his redshirt year by playing in the bowl. Kelly likely wishes that LSU had opted out of the bowl.

Forgot to add Cade is a track and field guy too. He was running the 200m and relay in high school. IMO perfect fit for our RPO.
