Guaranteed flop. Kind of like women's pro soccer in he US. There must be some value in losing money.

well and I wish Boulware would crush it financially. I am pointing out that the league will flop. Things that won't work.
1. A new league to compete against the NBA
2. Women's pro soccer league.
3. Another pro baseball league in the US.
4. Another pro football league.

is that over a case of wine they came to the conclusion that many conservatives hate the NFL right now for a handful of players taking a knee, so they they think the timing is great. They will be the patriotic league. Flop city.

If they play after the college football season is over (i.e. Mid-January) I will definitely watch it. Football all year long would be great with me!

I hope they go head to head vs. NFL on Sundays, without the excessive offical reviews, back to back to back commercials, non-football related commentary, mandated tv timeouts, biased announcers pulling for "the chosen" few teams/stars, and/or general watering down of the on the field product.
I think many will be surprised out how it would succeed, as opposed to simply saying they will just "re-do" XFL v1.0 and it will fail.
(Disclaimer, I did not watch, nor was a fan of original XFL, but NFL by it's own failings has cracked the door open).
The MOST important thing would be to establish credibility with ensuring the integrity of the competition and make sure these are NOT WWE style, predetermined outcomes.

He said during the Q&A part that the plan is start the seasons at the end of Jan or the beginning of Feb.

With all the shinanigans the NFL produced the last couple of years and with the ratings overall going down, it might be a warm welcome and the right time to reintroduce it. Vince has money and he’s not afraid to spend it. Just look at how much money he spent on his wife’s campaign a few years back.

They are trying to take advantage of the low NFL Ratings from all the stuff going on this year. Hoping to cash in on it, but it's still going to be a bad product more than likely and go belly up in a year or two.
