Hmmm, maybe more than the "paid patriotism" they used to do?
And seriously if you stop watching the NFL because of their vaccine stance, you're ridiculous. I mean the NFL not paying out coverage for people having life altering injuries in the name of sport is more a cause to care about than if someone gets a Covid vaccine shot or not.

Unfortunately, taking care of former players with life altering injuries doesn't fit in any political agenda.

hun? Do you think the NFL only does stuff to fit a political agenda? Did you see the DW4 response they've had which is literally nothing? You can't get more #MeToo than that.
Mate, the NFL is a business. Do they leverage politics when it suits them? Absolutely, but ####. Its about the money and how to make more.

Its a business. Now that we are opened back up they can't reschedule games as easily. There are concerts etc etc. There are people that bought those tickets to football games. Its not simple anymore. Its a complicated precise business costing 100's of millions to operate. They are looking out for business. They can't have game cancelled.

I stopped watching when players started kneeling. Whether a player does/does not get a vaccine is irrelevant to me. However, if you can't see that the NFL has become one long commercial for whatever the "issue" is at the time, or a Nike tool...then take off your blinders. They sold "Patriotism" for years and your tax dollars were footing the bill. After 9-11, they couldn't "honor" enough cops and first responders. Now, they are strictly "woke".
The NFL soul is, and has always been "For Sale".

You don't like the US military and the jets flying over? Que pasa? They let the military advertise with them. Is that not cool?

Government and big business are in bed together and some prominent individuals bounce back and forth between the two. The highest level of leadership in government and business agree on certain policies and use big corporate media to spin issues in support of the position agreed upon. This is the case be it border issues, covid issues, firearms policy, voting issues, or anything other issue important to the establishment.

Not in this scenario. Its hard to believe there are people that are dumb enough that it is a factor for the NFL and their business model.

It is the case with any big business. As long as they take the position of the establishment on issues the establishment and big corporate media will support them.

Definitely. That said, in this case its a non factor. Its about making money. Its that simple. You need the fans in the stands and you need the games played. Its about revenue. There are 17 games and canceling games crushes revenue.

following the advice of the medical community? The same community that I'm guessing you'll go along with anytime you are sick or hospitalized, but not the community you'll agree with when it doesn't fit your binary political beliefs?
