most idiots try to punch a rock hard helmet....battle had great form and went under the shell.

in all seriousness I am embarrassed as a clemson fan but it happened lets move on. Suspended him for two games and forget about it. I bet he doesn't do it again, but I also bet other teams think a little harder about getting in our teams face. It was fire, but just the wrong outlet

Ask Ralph Samson. After he knocked that little guy from Boston out it cause him to catch it more and more from opponents.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree as I applaud Battle for punching the effer out. Laid him on his stupid ### with one shot. Now that is how you do it. Those mouthy little punks needed a lesson - and Battle explained it so that the entire nation understands it. Kudos to him for that. I love CLEMSON, but taking chit off of people will never be acceptable. Too bad it wasn't Swearinger.

to Battle. He was jawing something to him, and Battle just waved him off. But he kept on, THEN Battle shut him up.

I don't condone the punch, but sure wish one of the two would have been "mic'ed up."

...and the DB punk went out of his way to walk up to Battle to give him more as Battle tried to walk away. I'm not condoning Battle's actions but the punk did want to get a reaction out of Battle....he got it.

I was asking earlier why the little NCSU beeyach didn't get flagged for taunting. Battle clearly tried to walk away but the little punk kept following him back to our huddle, then got in his face again and started taunting. But you sure don't hear any pundits crying about that.
