I was there. This stinks

Jan 27, 2014, 1:28 AM

First. There were lots of Tiger fans there tonight. I'd say around 1,000. UNC fans noticed. They didn't like it.

Second, our guys were scared. Brownell didn't help with this. For some reason he thinks we are equals. He ignores the advice from Rick Barnes and Oliver Purnell. He thinks we can throw the ball up and just hope for the best.

He had no plan. He had no realization that we could not match up. Where was the defense? Where was reality?

I like Brad. I get what he is trying to do. But this was a disaster. He seems to be as dumbfounded as anyone. This can't stand.

This time the UNC fans were embarrassed for us. They thought we could challenge them. They were as surprised as we were.

As a real basketball fan.. I didn't think we'd win tonight. But I am horrified by the performance.

Clemson can't stand for this.

Nice post there Cootpaw. Like you, accurate name spelling is kinda hard do at times. But Brownell isn't all that hard to spell correctly!!!

Ignore the people calling you coot

It's what happens when you voice an unpopular opinion on t-net. Even though I disagree with some of your points, it's obvious you're a Diehard tiger fan who wants to see the program succeed sooner rather than later.

I totally agree.
I have been labeled a coot more times than Carter's
got little liver pills.
I actually thought we might have had a chance last night, but unfortunately this was like the FSU game( football not basketball).
This game was over half way thru the first half.

I was also there and sure did not see 1,000 Clemson fans. I could tell during warm-ups that the team did not have any energy. Very, very poor performance.

You "like" Brad but you make fun of his name?

Purnell's advice? Really? He had an 11-point lead up there with three minutes left and wouldn't slow down the pace. He kept pressing and giving up layups and let UNC back in the game.
How'd that work out?

Holy. Sentence. Fragments.***
