actually take a transfer INTO his program? His stance on building from within is pretty well established at this point in time. I think it would have to be a very specific situation, not ordinarily seen, to even make him consider it. Thoughts?

I think if you had a former recruit with a relationship well developed it might happen. Not years down the road but maybe after a single year.

I think you are on the right track. To me, it would have to

be someone that we were in the final two on, and then their coach left or got fired after their first year. As you said, I don't think he would ever take a "seasoned" transfer. There would be too much of someone else's culture to try and undo, as well as the possibility that they would pollute our own culture.

pretty sure there's been one, but it is rare, we had a upstate transfer from Stanford that played quarterback, but its been a few years.

Right. I remember a couple in the early years, but none

lately. Dabo is constantly evaluating his "model", fine tuning what works, and changing what doesn't.

for the son/brother of a former player or some other similar scenario like the son of a former teammate or coach.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

If there was a need and a player who fit, yes. But so far recruiting seems to yield excellent results
