If our offense had a bit more “pop” to it, I would agree. But, - got to score to win. Let’s hope we get enough big plays to get 30.

6 points, 16-10 at home.
Iowa State lost to Iowa at home 27-17. Iowa St. also lost to Baylor 31-29.
Iowa St. only had four blow outs against teams struggling this year, UNLV and Kansas, as they are usually both poor teams. Iowa St. also beat a struggling Texas and TCU, both of which with losing records.

I feel like we are going to play well. Everyone seems motivated to play, both players and staff because they feel like they have something to prove. I think winning that 10th game is important for them because they don't want to be the team that broke that streak. It should be close most of the game but we pull away in the 4th quarter for a 10 point win.

games, TCU was also 3-6 in conference play. Six of the ten B 12 teams had losing records in conference.
Iowa St will be jacked up for our game. Having some of our receivers back after missing several games should bold well for our offense. I feel really good about our ability to run the ball, and the additional receivers back should really help our offense.

then it doesn't matter how good the other team is (see CFP blowouts against ND and Ohio State). But we lost our coordinators. So, IMO, it comes down to Clemson's staff changes vs ISU's player losses.

Honestly just hoping we play at this point. With all the cancellations just let the final four play and be done with it. A lot of these teams are feeling like we felt against FSU. I hate to be negative but ####…
