The fall of VT

VT won 10 plus games 13 times over the last 20 years. Played in multiple big games, won conference championships, and put a lot of players in the NFL. Once VT was a tough place to play (esp on Thurs. nights). Now, they have the potential of having their first losing season since 1992. Its just an example of all good things must come to an end. RIP VT football.....Duke is winning more games than you.

Think the kickoff rule changes a few years ago really killed the special teams niche they had carved out as a trademarked weapon to beat teams with. Of course, losing their QB for the year against OSU didn't do them much good. That's a punch not many teams can take and not fall off into oblivion.
