favorite for ESPN to hype & make money on so to give back to SEC so they get ahead financially versus other good conferences.
Hope the Tigers continue the downward spiral by whipping Dawgs in their backyard and rip down the hedges too.

I'm just very happy that the coots don't have another ghost trophy to go along with all those other ghost trophies in their empty trophy case. Well, they do have a Clemson helmet in their trophy case. I guess they will get a Clemson Jock strap to show for the trophy they didn't get tonight. What ever smells good for them I guess!!!

It is amazing what a couple of 3 point victories will do for your confidence. Dabo has CU headed in the right direction but outside of FSU and Clemson I don't really see anyone else in the ACC making any noise. The SEC has 6-8 teams that are capable of making the play-offs....I disagree.

6-8? The only ones that made BCS Bowls were Bama and Auburn

And they both lost, while the two ACC teams in BCS Bowls won. Explain that to me.

and a great win for Clemson it was but CU was fortunate to be there at all. Thankfully for the tigers your conference champion played for the natty. The ACC's first team playing for the title in how many years? I think you have to look at the conferences as a whole.....7 straight national championships can't be overlooked. Outside of maybe Louisville who else in the ACC has made any noise lately?

Tense. Not where they've been. Past tense. Yes the SEC has dominated previously, but with UNC, Duke, and Miami looking to be on the up swing, and CU and FSU looking as if they can just reload, I believe they will be able to compete with SEC teams

I'd sure like to see more SEC versus ACC match-ups for sure.

You're right, the stellar ACC record in the BCS should be all that is needed to say. Forget about the SEC and how many titles they've won, it pales in comparison to other leagues. Yep, that's the ticket.

In 2013 the ACC and SEC were pretty much even on the field. The SEC was 6-4 head to head however a lot of those games were very close and could have went either way. I've heard you coots talk like Vandy is a legit program now, well they barely scooted by Wake who was 2-6 in ACC play and UGA had to go to OT to beat GT.
Plus the ACC had more bowl teams and was 2-0 in BCS bowls compared to the SEC being 0-2.

I go by what I see on the field, not what Paul Finebaum says on ESPN.

Florida should have lost to Georgia Southern last year. You really think they are going to be in the top 4 teams next year? I think they will suck again and Muschamp will be shown the door.

the SEC holds neither the football nor basketball championship trophies right now.
If only we can take care of baseball somehow.
