There's plenty of reason as to why Clemson would be pressured. If clemson benches a player with a muli-millionn dollar NIL deal you don't think companies in the future would take that into consideration with their willingness and terms of contracts when dealing with Clemson NIL?

If the player isn't getting it done, he's not getting NIL the next year anyway. Let the Co. make their commercial or stick him on their billboard, then both sides cut their losses.
