We're not winning a National Championship this year. Our OL and offensive playcalling are not good enough.
Now, if we get a new OL coach and improve our offensive schemes in the off-season, I believe we can make a run in 2022.

Did you see what Alabama did to Miami?
Ain't no way we are going to win the National Championship this year.
But there is some good news that came out of last nights loss; Georgia won't win it either.

Miami is trash lol. We proved that last year. UGA is on a different level talent wise then Miami.

It’s possible given Clemson played so well on D- not like we got blown out last night. The talking heads will make the most of this loss and rail against Clemson as much as they can.
Our OL and passing game did not play well at all but our conference is the type that will help Tony Elliot and the gang regroup.

I guess there are, at least, 3 of us. Our biggest hurdle might be getting in, even if we run the table. Georgia has a relatively easy conference schedule this year, so if they go through to the SEC championship they are in before us. If the West wins the SEC championship they are in. That leaves 2 spots and a lot of teams that will have tougher schedules than us.
I think with 3 months to get the offensive line to where they are working together will put us in a good position. If we are lucky enough to get another shot at Georgia, I don't think the game looks close to the same.

Didn’t watch the game? We have no chance with an offense that can’t score and struggles for first downs. The worst we’ve looked on offense since Bowden.
We’d lose 2 or 3 ACC games if the offense played like last night.

I agree, worst Clemson has looked since Bowden. The staff is
getting too comfy running same vanilla offense. DJ reminded me of Kelly Bryant
with his SLOW reads and out of bounds throws when his pre-determined read was
not open. No Running game, no OL, and mediocre QB who was overhyped...
...now sure they will go beat the ACC teams
by huge sums, but WHO CARES? Its like playing against an average golfer
on the weekend and then being asked to go beat Patrick Cantlay on Monday. The ACC
is not helping Clemson at all. You do not hone your skills against low level talent.
Now onward to beat the SC states and GT of the world. Big whoop. Gone fishing this season.

Unless Oklahoma lose a game we will be lucky to get in the playoffs with1 loss.
With our weak schedule we had to win that game.

All I hear every year is that with our weak schedule we can never make it to the playoff's with a loss, and yet.... we end up in the playoff every year.
The world has not ended. There is a full year of football to watch. Clemson does not suck just because we lost one game.
We have a long way to go to be able to win the Natty, but there is no reason we shouldn't win the ACC. If we win the ACC we are 90% to make the playoff.
Our defense will keep us in the game against everyone we play this year. The offense will get much better. Just relax and enjoy the ride.
