I remember when the WR Macintosh was lured to flip to Fla

on signing day a few years ago (similar to this years debacle). He was our highest rated recruit and I felt pretty sick about it. Mike Williams was (a 3 star WR) that told tiger nation in a interview “Don’t worry Clemson nation.. y’all still got me”. We went on to win a National Championship with Williams and some other no-name kid (think his name was Hunter Renfrow). When Clemson has a great QB we always will have a chance(and I believe Klubnik is just that. We have a lot of pieces in place for next season and we should have a chip on our shoulder as well.
I believe more Championships are coming and recruiting will work itself..

His name was not Macintosh. That was the LB that went to Miami. The guy you are talking about was Robinson maybe? He was a reserve on the KC Chiefs last I heard of him.

Regardless of the name.. my point is Clemson will overcome the few de-commits. This year of transition was tuff but our team is loaded and we got our QB. Next years class should be stable and we continue to roll

Redshirted first year. No PT second. Transferred to GSU and caught a half dozen passes or so before getting kicked off that team. It was McIntosh.

Both McIntosh and Robinson stuck it to us and went to Florida after being committed to Clemson.
I, too, remember the Mike Williams comment. I believe he referred to himself as "Big Mike". He will always be one of my favorites.

McIntosh turned out to be not nearly as good as advertised. If I recall, he ended-up transferring from Florida for a lack of playing time. He ended-up at Georgia Southern but was eventually kicked off that team.

If Mike Williams was a 3 star I will take 3 star players all day long like Mike. He could catch
Anything in his area. Mike Williams, Tee Higgins, Sammy Watkins and Andre Ellington were some of the best WR’s in college football. Now you can add a skinny walk on from Myrtle Beach Hunter Renfrow who has become the go to guy for the Raiders. What an awesome group of guys with tremendous talent.

Players name was Malachi Dupree who flipped to LSU late.
Dupree never lived up to expectations as a bayou bengal. Mike Williams flourished.
So, to OP point, stop panicking.
Let the selfish players collect at the same schools. I anticipate an implosion happening.
Dabo and company will figure it out.
