Likely, but does anyone blame him? USC largely caused their own demise, but the situation described is not any easier for any program including our own! Think about how Clemson react if the situation had been ours instead.

That was probably the mixup. The little NCAA stooge in charge of sending the congratulatory texts probably just meant for it to go to the Trojans, who actually made the Tourney.

That's actually what ESPN reported yesterday evening. The intern was told USC and for whatever silly reason thought it meant South Carolina.
