I really want Trevor Etienne

Jul 7, 2021, 7:59 PM

His catching out of the back field is incredible and if I had to put money on it I’d say he’s the best pass catching RB in the class. No, I haven’t studied a lot of these guys in the class but with what I’ve seen I haven’t seen much guys catch the ball like he can out of the backfield in the last couple years. Another plus is he’s 5’9 210 so once it’s in his hands all I have to say is good luck DBs! Go Tigers!

Well, to be honest, he used to be pretty bad and I’d say now he is ok…

Yes, he dropped a lot of balls out of the backfield his first few years. He was not a good pass catcher, everyone knew it. He knew it. He needed to work on it, and he did. He’s better but I’m not sure I would call him a RB pass catching phenom, yet.

Maybe he will become one and I hope to be proven wrong. I love the guy, just being objective.

Me thinks you has the confuse...you're talking about Travis

who was drafted in the first round largely due to his improvement in catching passes...think Alvin Kamara.

I know he likes Clemson, I am sure he likes it a lot!
That is a lot of pressure to put on the guy, how many people are going to say- well your brother was this or that- you brother could have done this or that! I hope he comes to Clemson and shows up his brother- that would be great to steal two out of the state of Louisiana- and heck I live in Louisiana.

He's got a little Trevor (Lawrence) and a little (Travis) Etienne ????

Unlike many recruits, he knows all as to Clemson.
He may want to go some place not seen as "the little brother".
He seems like a good kid, sure he will make the best choice for himself.

Clemson coaches were right

Jul 9, 2021, 1:25 PM

They told him that no matter which school he chose, he would always be Travis Etienne's little brother until he made a name for himself. That should give him plenty to think about when it comes to choosing a school. His brother thrived at Clemson - and so can he - if he's willing to work at it like his brother did.

If he's smart, I think he might recognize that Clemson gave his brother a chance and then helped him realize his dreams by providing every opportunity to him.... the rest is up to him.

I doubt he chooses Clemson

Because of the huge shadow left by his brother. It's a "no-win" situation for him.

I'd be glad to have him though.
