Because they are more desperate for players than Clemson. They just need bodies with a new staf. They have 5 spots that are open, where Clemson just has two spots to fill now.

Clemson is also in the top 3 for Hunter McIntosh from Elon. He is a local kid also from Georgia and it's down to Wichita State, Nevada and Clemson. Already visited Wichita State and Nevada is next. Clemson will be the last visit so there you go.
He had better stats than Galloway from the same conference in the CAA when Galloway was at Charleston. Mcintosh also had big games vs power 5 teams in his carrer. Had 18 points vs UNC this season. Don't think you are getting both these guys because too similar and not a need for both. Need a big wing for the potential last spot.

You do realize you can't really compare their stats because Galloway was injured and missed the better part of a season, right? Based on what I'm hearing and his interview with Tigernet, I think there's about a 80% chance he's coming to Clemson.

What if he is still injured next year? So this is the answer to not getting JL from Princeton? I think it's a bad move unless there is another transfer leaving.

He's not the same type of player as JL, so no. I think it's a combination of things. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Even if others commit, we can find a place for him. He's not injured right now and has lots of potential. And he's homegrown with Clemson legacy in his family, which is worth noting. Maybe I'm wrong and he commits to the Gamecocks, but I just don't see that happening.

How's it affect his decision that they just reeled in that stud point guard from OSU. Understanding they need bodies but a huge pickup for them.

NC, you try soooo hard, but you just keep posting misinformation. Galloway is a 2, maybe can play a little bit of 3. McIntosh is a 3 year starter at PG. They don't play the same position. We could get one of them.. both.. or neither. We're still working several portal kids, including Llewellyn who is prob a long shot at this point, but our staff was in contact with him as late as yesterday, so who knows.
