If I were a CEO of a company I would want to at least entertain seeing what people outside of my company's walls may be able to contribute.
Dabo has given Clemson nation no reason not to trust him to this point, but this much turnover in this short of a period after what some would call a "down" season is cause for concern whether you want to admit it or not.
Just my opinion and doesn't amount to much because I obviously have no inside knowledge of what is going on in the program behind closed doors, but I think anyone reasonable should be concerned.
I get that he wants to keep his guys and his culture intact as much as possible, but man, we need some homerun hires right now...

If Dabo thinks that he cannot bring in anyone from the outside, then he is building a cult - not a culture. I hope that he is smarter and more well-balanced than some of the fanbase here.

How do you know he hasn't? No telling how many people Dabo has already spoken to. Maybe not formal interviews, but guarantee he is on it.

You don’t understand because you have never been a HC or built a program so instead of whining why not wait for the results? Based on Dabo’s track record you will not end up disappointed so your little hissy fit will be for nothing

Some people on here just skim and then try to jump on people for talking about hypothetical situations, coaching/player issues, etc that sports forums are meant to be for...

The best CEOs have plans in place years in advance, and that is the case here, no need to interview anyone. Streeter was brought in for this exact reason, he waited his turn just like Venables and Elliot, on a smaller/late get scale.

When you look outside, you don't know what you're going to get. When you promote from within, you know the people you already have. Now, that being said, if my program showed signs of being unsuccessful from promoting within, then I would move outside. But not until.

I would not call our offense successful this year even when taking into account the injuries etc.
We need some fresh ideas. As long as Streeter can adapt I am good with that.

How do you know outside guys have not been interviewed? People need to sit back, but trust in those making the decisions and let things play out. The truth may be never known, who was interviewed, who was considered. Coulda, woulda, shouda don’t get it. Support who is selected and let’s go!
