No ear in Neff, but I think it is not going to happen unless the roof comes off on the season. As long as the team is about .500 Brad will be back. Remember Neff is in his first season as the AD and most ADs don't like to make major coaching changes their first season. Now, I know he has been in the program awhile but just it's just the case.

Now next year is huge season for Brad. Now another thing is maybe Brad doesn't want to come back, but I doubt that also.

I don’t see wasting the money to buy him out. Keep him until contract ends and move on. I know this method is not ideal for recruiting but would save some cash. Lot smarter people in the AD will make the right move. JMO

He is under contract through the 2025-2026 season. So to save some money, we should keep paying him for 4.5 more seasons of basketball? The last 2 seasons are $3M each.

And not give him an extension...just let the contract run its course? You can't recruit on a dead-end contract...

Eveyone talks about the buyout but most schools pay this in increments. Spread the amount through 5 years or more. Clemson can afford it, but it is the timing is right with a new AD. Again, know he is familiar with the program since he has been there, but should he do it in first year?
