FDA approval given finally ! Military is going to have to roll up their sleeves. Other mandates are coming down as well. You hardline holdouts will not be forced to get a vaccine but your life is about to get real challenging if you don't. It's about time.

Even if every man , woman and child in the US was vaccinated, the rest of the world is not. Variants will continue in the rest of the world and travel to the US regardless
Our borders are open, so unvaccinated people flow in undisturbed.
People enter the country, from all over.
People just get off on blaming others (except China or NIH/Faucci) or mandating what others should or should not be doing.
I took my vaccine. I DGAF that others do not.

Plenty of African American youth are not vaccinated. Did they vote for Trump? This should not be a left or right fight. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr is a democrat and has hesitations on certain vaccines. He may be wrong, but he is entitled to his opinion. The media is playing you.

I’m not a lefty.
I think everyone should get vaccinated unless they have a “valid” medical reason. It’s a public health issue, not political.

I'm vaccinated, and here is why I care about other people being vaccinated:
1. Vaccination significantly reduces the risk of getting COVID (by about 8x).
2. Vaccination even more significantly reduces the risk of severe COVID and death from COVID (by about 25x).
3. Vaccination protects those in our society who can't get the vaccine (children, as well as adults with certain health conditions) and who have not mounted a good immune response from the vaccine.
We have lost 628,000 people in the United States from COVID. Millions more who have had COVID have chronic ailments, even months later. The virus has impacted a lot of people physically, emotionally, and financially.
I don't understand why something as simple as getting a vaccine is such a big deal to some people.
If getting COVID only affected the person who has it, I wouldn't care as much what people do. But since it can be spread, and harm others, personal decisions matter a lot.

that there are still too many unknows particularly as it pertains to long term side effects.
While the FDA approval will increase vaccination rates to a certain degree, I don't think the approval is going to influence any of the hardliners who have made-up their minds that they will not, under any circumstances, get vaccinated.

On a side note, they supposedly want to at one point make the vaccine required for everyone in the military. They claim the reasoning is our soldiers can't all be getting sick when we need them to be prepared.

FDA is a shill to democrats, big government and big pharma. Not to mention the microchips, magnetism, and whatever else. Meanwhile, they'll take a trip to the vet and get some horse dewormer and happily ingest that because a Facebook post says it works.
Besides, this was rushed, they cut corners under pressure from big pharma and unions. It's all a sham. Trump won the election too. How can we trust them since they rigged an election? They can rig vaccine approval just as easily. It's all a means of control by the socialist elites.
I'll just go ahead and answer for them.....
I will agree it was rushed. The reason, however, I'll disagree with.
And even Trump himself can't talk sense to them either. Trump funded the vaccines, Trump helped streamline manufacturing of the vaccine, he helped get it approved under emergency authorization, he then took it, and promoted it since day one. And he recently recommended it and was booed. Dolly Parton funded the vaccines, promoted them, and took them. Has anyone boycotted Dollywood? Henry McMaster has received a vaccine. Desantis has been vaccinated. Every GOP politician running something has been vaccinated. Kristi Noem has gotten the vaccine.
All you need to know. FDA approval will not mean crap, just one less excuse they have and a new one they will have to create.

The same kind of forces that hooked so many on Qanon and the Peoples Temple have apparently worked here. They have manipulated people's emotions and their fear of the unknown.
It is a serious breakdown in our society that has been decades in the making, exploited by some big names like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that have sowed massive distrust in everything the government does in regards to public health.
A lot of it is manifested in people like this lady who showed up at a recent City of Charleston meeting, and is running against Nancy Mace in the first district. If we don't watch out, they are going to be running our country sooner than we think.
