basketball in college is a lot of fun. They play hard and defend hard, The movement on offense is much more fluid and purposeful. There is much more of an x's and o's feel and importance of scheme and system in the college game.
It's fun.

defensive intensity, passing, and shooting is better than it's ever been. Stopping the offense is tougher than ever since hand-checking was made a foul in the mid-90s.
I also miss the inside game of years ago.

That was a great era of big men.

On the other hand, watching Robinson and Olajuwon was such a treat. Amazing athletes who could do it all on both ends of the floor.

I will admit they were all great big men ,combining for 9 NBA titles.
Maybe it's just that you are not old enough, but I remember a big man who was part of 11 NBA tiles.
Maybe you have heard of him; His name is Bill Russell.

I've never watched more than a few minutes of NBA, but I agree about college tournaments. Obviously if ACC/SEC teams are involved there is someone I can pull for or against, but I also enjoy watching schools that aren't at all familiar to me!
