point than them at the end, I'll be happy. (Although some of those cardiac games like we had in 2016 nearly made me physically ill! EIGHT games decided by a touchdown or less! )

The 1983 game gave me chills. Watching both teams taking kicks from the 50 yard line to break the tie was nerve racking.

I agree regarding the first half. 2 very good defenses, and I expect a lot of ball-control on offense to feel each other out. I don't see either team putting together any long sustained drives in the first half. Something like 10-7 at half, most of the scoring off of big plays.

I don't see us pulling away in the second half, but I think it'll be something like 24-21 after a late score by the trailing team. Honestly feel like it's a toss-up who wins. Very evenly matched.

To me, a lot of the unknown comes from the question: Will JT Daniels play like he played against weaker competition at the end of last year, or be a liability? If he gets off to a rough start, and we get an early lead, I think it will look a lot like the A&M game in 2019, where we just play smart ball control because we know we can hold their offense.

I think the key for us winning is our WR Corps. IF the above scenario is reversed, I don't think UGA can afford to play conservatively as I just don't see them being able to limit the big plays all game. If they do, the RBs and TEs should have a big day underneath.

DL should dominate the game on both sides. UGA's OL is better, or at least more proven, particularly on the left side. Our WRs are better, albeit some still have a lot to prove. Probably more than the average game, ball security will be key. Will likely come down to turnovers and who can capitalize on them.
