shifty eyed little weasel, which is the general impression I got from "That Last Dance" Parts 1 & 2. Certainly no love lost between he and the players. And, Phil Jackson couldn't even make himself be completely diplomatic about Kraus, either.

It also sounded like the owner, Reinsdorf, was trying to write a little revisionist history, saying he warned Pippen against signing that 7 year deal, knowing he would be grossly underpaid. Sure he did.

Kraus protrayed as a weasel but he did put the team

together - like someone said in the show, there would have been no Phil Jackson if not Kraus. Plus Kraus traded up to get Pippen and had some other key picks/signings.

Pippen didn't exactly act classy during the end and Kraus was ridiculed by Jordan and Pippen - as shown several times.

Because he couldn’t afford to gamble on himself being good enough and then plays the part of victim for being undervalued on his contract.

I believe Pippen said he signed that long term deal because he had to take care of his family and worried about getting injured. One of his brothers and his father were wheelchair bound.

Krause was a very good GM.

Unfortunately for Krause, Jordan is one of the most popular athletes ever, so when it comes down to Jordan’s word versus Krause’s, guess who the public sides with?

The funny thing is, as much of a jerk as Krause could be at times, so could Jordan. People just didn’t see that side of MJ (or didn’t want to).
