I like that the young man dressed up and went to the presser after the GA loss. That’s a tough thing to do after a high profile loss. But he went out there and faced the music looking sharp to represent himself and the university.

Maybe he’s playing the long game trying to show he’s a hat-wearer to secure a deal with Planter’s Peanuts? Imagine him showing up in a top hat and monacle.

Those of us in older generations learned it was bad manners to wear a hat indoors. I guess Cam Newton and DJ's parents missed that class. How did it work out for Cam?

m.it speaks volumes that we have to tell bonehead people to remove their hats for the National Anthem now. Though the other night I'm at a high shcool game and the private school was cisting. they had just come out of the locker room w all helmets on. As soon as they heard the first couple notes of the anthem every helmet was removed

I was so proud of him.

It was surprising that he didn’t play better against SC State.
