feeling of despair in the bottom of my stomach bc I personally felt that our pitching for the season was going to be like a boat full of holes that wouldn't make it across the pond before it sunk, and I mentioned that a few times at the start of the season of no faith in our pitching bc we lostsome of our best through graduation and MLB. The regular season ended yesterday, and here we are at 43-13, 22-8 ACC, awesome season. HC Monte Lee and coach See, our pitching coach has done a great job with our pitchers and the rotation with our pitching. Those two guys along with the rest of our coaching staff deserve a ton of credit for the success of our season that I never thought possible at the beginning of our baseball season. Thank you to all of our baseball coaches!!! Sometimes things aren't as dark as one may think they are when you have the right guys leading them into the bright lights, and that is just what our baseball coaching staff has done with our baseball team this season. Go Tigers, and keep winning, but know that I'm a proud Tiger baseball fan with the success our guys have had to this point. They have done better than I personally ever thought they would do in 2018!!!

Have to agree with ya' allorange ___ this season has been a ""win by committee"" type year --game to game ,we never knew who the hero was going to be ?? ( pitching or hitting ) Seems like Monte,has instilled that ""winning way attitude"" in all the team** ________ thought the move to start Strider on Thursday,was outstanding since Hennessy had gotten roughed-up his last start ( should give him time to re-think his game ) __ of course all the hits & homeruns got us off to a good start too !!!! This staff / team has won a lot of games,that we would have lost a few years back IMHO* __ looking forward to the next few weeks & hoping to continue our winning ways * GO TIGERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally thought this was the year we do something and we have.
I figured the pitching might struggle a bit early but we had a very dangerous lineup.
It’s been a little on the flip but everything looks to be clicking now.
Most teams with players like Beer, Davidson and Williams make deep runs.
This is about where I thought this team should be.

Agreed. Losing Krall was worrisome but with the bats we have I expected to be towards the top of the ACC and top 10-15 in the nation. It all starts in the post season tho. Omaha or bust.

Look up the strings from the preseason, folks were sure the team was destined to lose and couldn't wrap their minds around these pitchers.
