I know a lot of people have given up on our playoff chances

But the Tennesse, South Carolina game is big for us today.
That will be the common opponent for us and the Volunteers. If Clemson beats South Carolina by more than Tennesse does that improves our playoff chances a bit.

Nope it's about who they beat, not how bad they beat bad teams.

Never give up until we are completely out of it...this is college football and just when you think everything is OK up pops the bear! After all we are dealing with 18-22 year old kids mostly fresh out of HS, most never had a job or anything other than athletics! Anything is still possible under those conditions...Dabo has the job of getting rid of the variables!

It's not over, but very few people see us as a truly a top 4 team. I think it will be hard to get over that perception.

We definitely need help from other teams, but so many people have written of the possibility of that happening it's funny. Number 9 with 3 games left gives us a fair chance.

I don’t really see Alabama top 15 team watching them this year. Tennessee close win on Alabama not that impressive as in years past. Then 2 losses blasted by UGA and USC.

We would have to put on a show and look unstoppable for the next 3 games to have any chance . Do you believe this can happen?

Win the next two games and the ACC Championship game and we are in the playoffs.

Tennessee’s loss was to the number 1 team. Our was

to a mediocre Notre Dame, and we got smoked. We haven’t blown anyone out. We would have a conference championship, but nobody respects the ACC so that doesn’t carry a lot of weight. I think our loss to ND, compared to TN’s loss to the number 1 team, outweighs the fact that we have a conference championship.

I agree, which is why the common opponent of South Carolina means something. I'm not saying it's a sure thing to push is over the top, but the committee would have to consider it.

A two loss Alabama is ahead of us right now, so that kind of tells you how the committee is leaning. No matter, win out and it’s another great season.

We'll jump Alabama if we win out. A two loss team that doesnt go to its conference championship game wont be in over a 1 loss champ.
We might not jump to the top 4, but we'll be closer than Bama.

If Auburn beat Alabama by big margin. Hour after game NCAA win change 2022 to 12 team format to get Tide in. What will happen if winner of Ohio State Michigan game loses in title game. Make it really crazy. ND gonna beat USC so even if win tile game would help us.
