44-16 , I wish that we had gotten that last touchdown just running it up the middle. Am I sicko to think that 50-16 sounds better ?

Well , there is something for the guys to work on this spring.

I love the fact that we didn't score though

we could have. I think showing mercy was more humiliating

The definition of awesome!

Yes, it was the best thing. Dabo got to play the merciful

sportsman card while showing the world he could have scored twice that quarter.

Put the dagger right up to their throats, smiled, and then put it back in its sheath.

Much like Caesar building a bridge over the Rhine, marching across it, turning around and marching back just to show the Germans he could.

Not scoring dilutes any

Bama argument about leaving points on the field...such as after settling for points 14, 15, and 16. ;)

+1 for referencing Caesars Rhine bridges in any conversation

I hope they just keep showing that last drive over and over

on YouTube, like they did the last drive of the 2016 natty. 95 plus drive and allow the time to run out with first down on the four, absolutely humiliating!

The most time consumed by a single drive in the entire history of Clemson football.

I think 'Bama's d-linemen are still sucking oxygen.

Personally, I would have loved Chase Brice getting a TD stat on the game and calling it a "Cuse" point.

Still, being at the 4 yard line and telling Bama, "Naw, we are going to forgo points because we don't need them" is as good if not better than 50 points.

Plus, holding onto the ball for that long to let the houndstooth get a good jump on Bay Area traffic was really classy.

We were just finessing the 4th quarter.

You almost got your wish when TL16 missed DK in stride on the sideline.

Running the score would have seemed like we were

trying. Walking away from the 5 after a 90 yard drive just says "casual crushing"

95 yard drive. We started at our own one inch line.***

Nothing is more humiliating than taking a mercy kneel with

a first and goal at the five, with time for another play or two. That is much more embarrassing for the loser, yet I'm sure they were greatly relieved that we didn't score 51.

Dabo wouldn't let em score.

All you have to do is call plays that won't work and have the wrong people in to run the play.
